Skin by Ann Webb

I love Trisha. She pads out of a back room in cute sweatpants and a vintage tee and says, “Ready?” It’s time for my first facial (this one wasn’t that good) at Skin by Ann Webb, a place I’ve grown to love as I’ve gone for some laser hair removal on the recommendation of not one but two friends (likewise, I highly, highly recommend it, ladies. Trisha is very efficient). Coincidentally, I also won a gift certificate at Fight Gone Bad in September and finally remembered to use it on this:

New Client Customized Facial - 65
We know that each person is unique, and spending time getting to know your skin is our first priority.  Once we understand your skin care goals, a program is put together that is right for you. We have specialized treatments to deal with acneic, aging, dry, sensitive, or hormonally imbalanced skin.  Each treatment will include enzymes and fruit acids to exfoliate or hydrate your skin.  Cold therapy and an oxygen treatment follow to calm, heal, and rebuild your skin.  You’ll leave feeling fresh, energized, and with that signature “Ann Webb” glow.

People, I am GLOWING. Shiny, happy face. It was completely and totally relaxing–well, except when she put some acid stuff on me which I’m sure was really good for me but stung like the dickens, but even then Tricia took the sting out with an oxygen machine blowing on my face. Love!

Once you’ve had your first facial, repeats are only $45.

In summary, even if you aren’t a girly-girl, go see Trisha Lewis at Skin by Ann Webb. Your face will be smooth and pretty afterward! (or your, um, other areas should you choose to get lasered…)

  1. The most delicious treatment @ Ann Webb is the Hot Oil Scalp treatment.Heaven in less than 1 hour:)

  2. I’ve had one facial ever and was broken out for a week after, but this one sounds like it’s worth giving facials a second chance. Uhhh… that’s what she said.

  3. jmo – hahaha … that’s what she said never gets old.

  4. Never gets old, except when you work at a gas station (when I was a kid).

So, as I’m reading I thought, hey, sounds like a good gift for my wifey. But, 1) pain is involved, as you mentioned. 2) I’ve heard of things going south like “jmo” mentioned. Would Miss Lyssa recommend this type of thing as a gift? If not, what would you suggest along these lines?

  5. I agree — Trisha is wonderful! Make an appt now if you haven’t already.

  6. Hi gals.

I have been plagued by facial hair for so long and have tried creams, electrolysis which left a black marks on my skin, waxing etc until I found this amazing little tool called Epicare. It is just a lil spring with handles on either side. I love, love, love it. It is so affordable compared to laser where there is still no guarantee that facial hair will be totally gone. For gals who are used to threading this is the perfect D.I.Y. tool. Got mine at http://www.epicarehome.com. I have been using mine for 8 months now.

    Sham.
