1) Valentine’s Day
Cupcakes decorated for the day of love. 2/14/10 hours: 11 am-9 pm.
Special flava: Chocolate Covered Strawberry (chocolate cake, strawberry frosting, dipped in chocolate ganache)
2) Sugar Mama’s U
I can major in cupcake consumption? Sweet! The bakery is now offering classes on decorating and/or baking once a month.
First class is Sugar Cookies 101 – Monday, February 8 from 7-9 pm: decorating cookies for Valentine’s Day! $55 per person ($50 if signing up with a friend). At the end of the class, you’ll be able to bring home your creations as well as a time-honored Sugar Mama’s cookie recipe. They supply everything, just call 448-3727 to snag the last remaining spots!
3) Happy Hour
Every Wednesday between 5 pm and closing is now $2 cupcakes or bars and FREE hot apple cider, Mexican Hot Chocolate or a cup of Sugar Mama’s very own blend of coffee.
4) The Big Announcement: BREAKFAST
Tuesday through Friday February 16 – March 12, Sugar Mama’s will try out opening at 7am! (Not that I’ll ever be there that early…) On the breakfast menu: sweet and savory scones with clotted cream and fancy jams, bundt cakes, assorted buckles (streusel-ey muffins), cinnamon rolls, and coffee totes for the office. Cupcakes will be available between 9-11 am.
Man do I love Sugar Mama’s, and all these changes just mean more chances to savor their amazing flavors!
