It’s an inside joke, but it’s okay, you still get the message: 010 (“oh-ten”) is the Year of the Pretty.
What Year of the Pretty means to me:
- I only wear my favorite things. And I give away the rest. (see: 6 grocery bags of Goodwill clothes)
- I only eat my favorite things. And I eat Paleo the rest of the time. (see: I eat dark chocolate chips; I do not eat white bread)
- I only spend time with Pretty people. And this means inside and out. (see: VT, ladies NYE, pickup football, TLSP, CrossFit)
It took me a few days to warm up to the 0h-ten, to be ready to address what the new year holds and decide what areas of my life need to be “addressed” with “goals.” I’m not a huge goal-setter, but these three are wide and flexible enough that I’m putting them out there.
