The twitter/foodblogosphere is abuzz with Addie Broyles’ scoop vis-a-vis KGSR radio this morning that Threadgill’s North is offering free dinner this week! So I must post as well, lest you guys assume I’m out of the loop. After a 3-month hiatus, the north store (6416 North Lamar)–which lays claim to the first beer license in the county–is offering your choice of four meals for FREE to get people back into the place. I expect Super-Bowl-ad-Free-Grand Slam-esque lines of people taking advantage of some delicious gratis Southern food, but it’s probably still worth it.

Thanks for the posting. Just for a point of clarity… this report was of Addie Broyles’ scoop vis-a-vis KGSR radio’s scoop of an advertisement that ran in the April issue of INsite Magazine (inside front cover).
That said, hope you got your free supper… and if you need desert now, Kevin’s Cookies are giving away 6 free cookies to anyone who walks in and asks for the INsite 6-Pack (http://www.kevinscookies.com) until the end of April.
