I love the Four Seasons Hotel Austin, with their incredible popovers and see-and-be-seen lobby bar. Tonight, they’ll be lighting their tree and unveiling their crazy-cool Gingerbread Village and everyone is invited! 5:30pm in the lobby. Complimentary treats and refreshments will be served.
I went last year and had a great time–the gingerbread village really is a sight to behold. What better way to kick off your Tuesday-it’s-almost-time-for-Thanksgiving celebrations? Plus there’s a stocking with my name on it by the fireplace … 
Plus, the Whole Foods ice skating rink opened this week, so holiday thrills are starting to abound! 10am-9pm through Jan 11, $10.
