I’m sporting a Hamilton shirt

Hello there, super-expensive-tailored-perfectly-to-my-body-shirt. You arrived in the mail last week. (Remember when I went to get fitted?)

A nice, thick box with a red bow on top.pb130098Hamilton box

I opened the box–like they do in the movies, where you can gently raise the lid and don’t have to rip into miles of packing tape–and behold! a white and light blue striped shirt with a diamond embroidery pattern. Buttons like I like (how do I like my buttons?) and a pocket and cuffs with the left made wider so as to enable my watch to slide through. Oh, the details!

Today I am wearing you. You have a long body and rounded hem, so I can wear you tucked in and you’ll stay, or I can wear you over a short skirt or some skinny jeans for some sass. Today I have gone with a pencil skirt and you are tucked tightly in, unable to pop out and expose me … how wonderful you are.

I am wrapped in luxury today. If you can afford custom-fitted shirts, you should probably try one. They are pretty neat. Perhaps the neatest feature is that you feel like a million bucks … maybe because you’re wearing it literally. Great gifts for dad/grandpa/uncle/brother!
