Yoga Competitions may sound a little oxymoronic, but once you’ve seen the things the champs can do with their bodies, rational thoughts leave your head anyway. Luckily for Austinites, the 2008 International Yoga Champions are coming to Bikram Yoga Davenport to teach this weekend!
Starting tonight and heading on into Monday, Ball Rattanapong and Alisa Matthews will teach beginner and advanced classes, as well as lead demonstrations and discussions. Current members get into beginners classes free, otherwise they’re $20 each. You can also buy full-day passes for $50 or weekend passes for $100. Bikram sure is expensive, but it also has incredible benefits and I’ve erally enjoyed my practice at Davenport!
[confirmed] RUMOR: Bikram Yoga Davenport is opening a studio in Downtown Austin! The studio will be located at 5th and Pressler, between Mo-Pac and Lamar. Finally, we won’t have to drive so far to take yoga! They anticipate a Spring 2009 opening.
