I tried to refrain from writing about this because, well, it seems like the 2nd Street District is ALWAYS hosting shopping extravaganzas, so that doesn’t really make it all that newsworthy. But after recieving my 10th email about the dang thing, I thought I might as well post it, in case one of you savvy shoppers somehow hadn’t heard.
It all kicks off with a sale preview and party this Thursday from 5 to 9 pm, with food, drinks, and giveaways. In order to buy tonight, you’ve got to have the VIP pass for the preview party, at $10. You’ll also receive a “shopping survival kit.” Profits from VIP passes benefit Ballet Austin.
For the rest of the weekend, boutiques will be offering 20-50% off their end-of-season merch. This includes all the usual faves like Estilo, Girl Next Door, mercury design studio, Sana, etc. So get your shop on all weekend, not just tonight.
